How to Paint Stripes of a Zebra

Paint your canvas, wall or face white and allow the paint to dry completely. Apply a second coat of white if necessary to achieve a smooth look. If using face paint, set it using translucent powder. Some people enjoy the black stripes of zebras but opt for a color instead of white. You can try this for an eye-catching alternative.

Use a pencil, paint brush (if you have a steady hand) or a makeup pencil to make vertical stripes on your canvas. Most of these stripes should end in points. These stripes mainly come from the zebra's spine and travel vertically over the ribs to the belly with rings around the neck and legs. Face markings are usually random and varied. No two zebras share the same markings.
