How to Win Someone Back When You've Cheated
Infidelity is an unfortunate and common mistake made within relationships. Whether you can win someone back after cheating depends largely on whether your partner is willing to try to work things out. However, there are things you can do after cheating on someone that will increase the chance he can forgive you and move on.

1
Be honest and come clean about everything. Do not go into every detail of your affair, because this can be very hurtful. However, if your significant other asks for details, do not lie about them. In order to make a new start, you must begin honestly. If your significant other chooses to forgive you, only to find out later there were more lies you hid, the relationship could end permanently. Promise to be honest from this point forward, then follow through.

2
Apologize sincerely. Put yourself in your spouse's position and tell her you understand how hurt she must feel. Acknowledge how your behavior must have hurt her and assure her it will not happen again.

Understand. It may take a while for your significant other to trust you again. This may manifest itself in him calling you frequently or asking you to check in. Resist being defensive, especially immediately after you are caught or come clean. It may take a little time for your loved one to trust you again, but you must take ownership and understand that your mistake is the root of the problem.

Go to counseling. Counseling can help you work through issues as a couple. Often, cheating is a result of feeling misunderstood or taken for granted; counseling can give you the tools you need as a couple to work through these types of feelings and begin to meet one another's needs. Consider counseling for yourself to explore why you were seeking affection outside of your relationship.

Stay out of trouble. If you think you are still vulnerable, do not put yourself in a position to cheat again. This may mean not going to happy hour after work, chatting online with friends or frequenting your favorite club. Your significant other will notice your behavior and appreciate your efforts to remain true.
