Specialty coffee shops have been cashing in for years on the collective consumer sweet tooth, but making your own creamy coffee variation is easier than you might think. Things You'll Need

  • 3 cups black coffee
  • 3/4 cup heavy cream
  • 1/2 cup of sugar
  • 2 tbsp. flavored coffee syrup
  • Whisk
  • Medium saucepan
  • Glass coffee pot
  • Whipped cream

Instructions

      Mix your cream and sugar together in a saucepan on medium heat. You must mix the cream and sugar sufficiently so that the sugar completely dissolves into the cream. Continue stirring until just before the boiling point. Set the saucepan aside on the stove on low heat.

      Pour the flavored syrup into the black coffee and slowly stir using a whisk or spoon. Check the sides of the glass coffee pot while stirring to ensure that the flavored syrup is completely dissolved.

      Pour the cream and sugar into the black coffee pot and stir gently until the mixtures are completely blended. Pour into coffee cups and serve with a swirl of whipped cream for a decorative touch.
