How to Become a Gettysburg National Battlefield Park Ranger
Becoming a park ranger at Gettysburg National Park is extremely demanding. Gettysburg rangers must be trained and educated not only as park rangers but also as experts on Gettysburg. Battlefield rangers are guides to visitors to Gettysburg and must be able to give tours and answer visitors' questions on any Gettysburg-related topic. You will need to have a bachelor's degree and preferably experience in a national park in a related field before even applying for a park ranger position. Gettysburg Battlefield rangers need to complete even more studies before being accepted in a position.
