      Connect your computer to your projector. Projectors can connect to computers using either a VGA or DVI cable. The VGA and DVI ports are located on the back of the projector and on either the back or left side of your computer or laptop. Plug one end of your cable into your computer and the other end into your projector.

      Adjust you computer screen settings by navigating to the "Start" menu and selecting the "Control Panel." In the Search box of the Control Panel, type in "Projector." Click the option labeled "Connect to a projector." Desktop viewing options will then be displayed. You can select to view your desktop on your projector only or view your desktop through the projector and on your computer at the same time.

      Adjust your projector and the image. Aim your projector at the projector screen. Your image will most likely look blurry. To adjust the focus of your image, rotate the focus ring on the front of the projector lens until the projector image comes into focus on your projector screen.
