Instructions

    • 1

Cut two rectangles of fabric, 10 inches by 7 inches each.

    • 2

Place the drinking glass on two lengthwise corners and trace around the glass with the pen on the wrong side of the fabric to create rounded corners. Cut the rounded corners with the scissors on the pen lines.

    • 3

Center the zipper along one rectangle's long straight edge. Replace your sewing machine's regular foot with a zipper foot. Sew straight stitches slowly along the edge of the wrong side of the zipper, attaching the zipper to the wrong side of the fabric. Attach the opposite edge of the zipper to the second rectangle by the same method.

    • 4

Place the right sides of fabric together and sew a straight stitch, ¼-inch from the curved fabric edges.

    • 5

Sew a straight stitch to attach the seams near the zipper on the top of the makeup bag with a straight stitch. Open the zipper and turn the completed makeup bag inside out.
