How to Fix Macromedia Projector Errors

At one time or another, Macromedia projector errors may appear when you try to play a game on your computer. A message similar to "Macromedia Projector has encountered a problem and needs to close" may display. When this happens, commonly, the gaming software is an outdated version and it could be incompatible with your newer computer. You can fix the errors and play the game by setting your computer to run the program even though it was made for an earlier version of your current operating system.

Instructions

1. Visit the game manufacturer's website and download any updates to the software. If Macromedia Projector errors are resolved, stop here; otherwise, continue to the next step.

2. Click the "Start" button and then click "Control Panel."

3. Type "Troubleshooter" in the search box and then click "Troubleshooting."

4. Click "Run programs made for previous versions of Windows" under "Programs" and then follow the on-screen instructions to complete the process.
