How to Make Seed Bead Buttons
Seed beads are small beads that are almost round in shape. They range in size from more than one millimeter to less than a millimeter. Buttons have been a part of our history for centuries. By combining buttons and seed beads, you can create wearable art that perhaps could last for generations.
Things You'll Need

1
Set the buttons, shank downward into a block of Styrofoam. This will hold your buttons steady as you work.
-
2
Brush the faces of the buttons with white craft glue. Sprinkle seed beads onto the button. You can do this randomly or in a pattern.
-
-
3
Press the seed beads into the glue with your fingers. Do this gently so as not to smear the glue or accidentally work the beads off the buttons.
-
4
Loosen the buttons to make make sure they aren't glued to the foam. Let them rest overnight before sewing them to your garment.
