How to Decorate Wine Glass Arrangements for a Wedding

Decorate wine glasses to use as wedding arrangements.

Wine glasses don't just have to be used for drinking wine at a wedding. You can use them as part of a decorative arrangement. This type of wedding decor is suitable no matter what the theme of the wedding is. You don't have to be a craft connoisseur to make a decorative arrangement that looks professional. All you need is a steady hand and items found at many local craft stores.

Things You'll Need

• Paint pens
• Tacky Glue
• Appliqués
• Ribbons
• Rhinestones

Instructions

1. Write the first names of the bride and groom on the wine glasses and the couple's wedding date below it. Make sure the color you choose is the color of the wedding's theme. If the bride and groom have chosen two colors, write their names in one color and the date in the other.

2. Glue appliqués that relate to the wedding theme all around the wine glasses. For example, if the wedding has a beach theme, glue small seashells onto the glasses.

3. Wrap a ribbon that is the color of the wedding's theme all around the stem of the wine glasses. When you get to the very bottom of the glasses, tie the ribbon in a bow.

4. Glue clear rhinestones around the base of the wine glasses. You can use any size rhinestones you like, but the smaller the stones, the more time it will take.

5. Inspect the glasses to ensure none of the decorations have come loose and that the arrangements look sufficient. If you are in charge of arranging the glasses onto the table, consider putting them in a pyramid-like arrangement, as it is easy to do and looks elegant.

• Ensure you leave yourself plenty of time to decorate the wine-glass arrangements before the wedding. Read the instructions on the Tacky Glue and paint pens to determine how long each will take to dry.
