How to Make a Bubble Foam Machine
If you're a party animal with a knack for crafts, making your own bubble foam machine may serve to both spice up your night life and indulge your inner craftsman. Increasingly popular, foam parties throw a unique twist into the traditional party scene by adding up to 4 feet of foam onto the dance floor. If you're in the mood to spice up your nightlife, it's only a matter of time and know-how before you can have a bubble foam machine of your own.
Things You'll Need
- 1-inch reducer
- 1-inch right-angle bend
- Sump pump
- 1-inch hose connector
- Industrial-strength hole puncher
- Nylon twine

1
Assemble the sump pump by attaching a 1-inch reducer to a right-angle bend, and then screwing the reducer and the bend to the mouth of the sump pump. Attach a hose connector to the reducer.
-
2
Remove the protective screen around the air blower and attach a length of rubber tubing cut to fit the diameter of the blower to the blower's mouth. Puncture holes in both the blower's mouth and the rubber tubing, then lace the tubing to the blower with nylon twine.

3
Create a basket within which the foam will be generated by cutting the base out of a large plastic basket, making sure that the diameter of the base matches the diameter of the blower's mouth. Puncture holes around the base. Lace nylon twine through the holes and tie the base to the mouth of the air blower, knotting the twine through the holes of the rubber tubing around the blower's mouth.

4
Punch holes in the basket's interior, then tie a hose to the inner walls of the basket without perforating the hose. Then, cut small holes in the hose and attach small sprinklers, between 1/3 inch and 1/2 inch in diameter, to the hose. Seal these openings with caulk.
-
5
Attach the hose to the sump pump by plugging it into the hose connector. Place the sump pump inside of a 44-gallon drum of foam fluid. Turn both the sump pump and the air blower on, and begin foaming.
