How to Replace the Bulb in a Kenmore Microwave
Kenmore microwaves have a light that turns on when the unit is in use. This allows you to monitor the food as it cooks. The light also comes on each time you open the microwave door, so you can view the inside of the unit. Through normal use, your microwave's lightbulb will eventually burn out. When that happens, open the light cover and replace the bulb. Does this Spark an idea?

Tips & Warnings
If you can't access the plug to remove it from the electrical socket, such as with an over-the-range microwave, turn off the power at the circuit breaker.
Always replace with a bulb of the same wattage to avoid electrical damage.
This process can vary depending upon the model of Kenmore microwave in question. Consult the use and care guide that came with the unit or contact Kenmore customer service for specific instructions.
