How to Create a Money Tree for a Gift Idea
You've heard the expression that "money doesn't grow on trees." While that may be true, you can create your own money tree--with real money--to give as a gift for a birthday, wedding anniversary or other such occasion. Making your own money tree adds a personal, creative touch to the gift, rather than just sticking some bills in an envelope.

1
Fold a piece of brown construction paper in half so that the crease is along the left side--hot dog-bun style. Tape the opening on the right and bottom while leaving the top open.
-
2
Take bills and fold them into quarters as small blossoms. Then tape them on the brown piece of paper in a frayed out tree-like manner. Leaves can be very loosely organized around the top of the construction paper. Be sure to not cross the top half of the construction paper since the tree may lose its realistic feel.

Place treats or money inside the top opening and seal with tape. The recipient of your money tree can simply cut the top portion to open up the surprising present.
