How to Polish Cupboards
Grease and dust take their toll on kitchen cupboards over time. The cupboards are a key feature of a kitchen, and when they start looking dingy, the entire room can begin looking shabby. To polish cupboards properly, you need to clean them first. Does this Spark an idea?
Things You'll Need
- Clean cloths
- Dust remover
- Mild dish soap
- Soft-bristle brush
- Old toothbrush
- Sponge
- Polishing spray

Wipe the cupboards with clean cloths sprayed with a dust remover.

Fill a sink with warm water and 2 tsps. mild liquid dish soap. Dip a soft-bristle brush in the soapy water.

Scrub the cupboards gently with the brush. Clean around the hardware. Use an old toothbrush to get into tight spots around the hardware.

Rinse the cupboards by wiping with a damp sponge. Dry the cupboards with a clean cloths.

Spray another cloth with polish. For wood cupboards, use a wood polish spray. Wipe the cupboards in an up-and-down motion. Respray and replacing the cloth as needed and continue wiping all the cupboards. Wipe over the hardware to give it a polished shine.
