How to Bait Squirrel Traps
Imagine sitting in your home, constantly hearing a creature running around in your attic. It's a scenario that some homeowners experience. The creature is often a squirrel. Fortunately, you don't have to learn to live with hearing their constant running. You can capture squirrels, using bait that will ease the critter into your trap. Does this Spark an idea?

Learn about your trap before using it. Bring out bait ingredients once you are familiar with the trap.

Take out one slice of bread. Use a butter knife and apply some peanut butter on one side of the bread.

Fold the piece of bread, with the peanut butter in the middle.

Break off a very small piece of the bread to be used as a "chum" or attractant for the squirrel. Place this next to where you will set up your trap.

Break off the top of the peanut butter sandwich. Place it on the trigger of the trap. Make sure it is stuck to the trap.

Place the trap next to the chum, and whereyou saw or heard the squirrel.

Tips & Warnings
Test your trap a few times to make sure it is working properly before you load the bait.
