How to Shrink-Wrap Homemade Wine
Making wine at home is an enjoyable experience, and making large quantities produces enough wine to give away as presents or store for future use. However, when transporting your liquid creations, there are always risks. Bottles can easily break or their labels can be scratched. To avoid this, shrink-wrapping each individual bottle is advised. With a little effort, and some simple tools, your bottles can arrive in perfect condition. Does this Spark an idea?

Measure out a length of shrink wrap so that it covers the bottle completely, with about an inch left over on the side, top and bottom.

Place the shrink wrap on a flat surface and set the bottle on top.

Roll the shrink wrap over the bottle so both ends connect on the side.

Begin to heat the plastic with the heat gun from the bottom.

Follow the overlap of both pieces with the heat gun up the side of the bottle. Proceed around the bottle to seal it completely.

Seal the remaining plastic over the top.

Go over the entire bottle once with the heat gun more to smooth out any bumps or ridges.

Tips & Warnings
If gifting the wine, tie a bow around the top.
If shipping the wine, cover the bottle in bubble wrap.
