How to Get a Copy of a Marriage Certificate in Hamilton County, Ohio
If you file your completed marriage license in Hamilton County, you will receive one certified copy of your marriage license, as this is included in the original marriage license fee. However, you may need additional copies to prove your change of name. The Hamilton County Probate Court allows you to order additional certified or exemplified copies of your marriage certificate via fax, e-mail, mail or in person. However, in-person or postal mail options may be more practical since you must still retrieve the copies in person after emailing or faxing a request.
