How to Make Wax Crumbles for Candles

How to Make Wax Crumbles for Candles thumbnail
Wax will melt more quickly when it is crumbled.

When you make handmade candles, it is necessary to melt down chunks of wax so that the wax can be poured into containers and molds, or dipped with candle wicks more easily. The smaller the wax is when it is heated, the quicker it will melt in the container you are using to dip or pour the candles. If you are starting with a large piece of wax, you can cut the wax up into crumbles using a couple of knives.
