How to Make a Holiday Wreath With Ornaments
An ornament wreath is an easy and creative way to add a handmade touch to your holiday decor. If you've got more glass, ball-shaped ornaments than you need for your Christmas tree, put them to good use as a festive wreath. Customize the look of the wreath according to the ornament color and size. Display the elegant wreath on your front door to welcome holiday guests or on a room wall to add a pop of color and shine to the space.

1
Wrap a piece of wide grosgrain ribbon around a 22-inch foam or straw wreath base. Overlap the ribbon edges to completely cover the wreath's surface. Use hot glue to secure the ribbon ends in place.
-
2
Gather glass, ball-shaped ornaments in various sizes and colors. Pick icy blue, frosty white and silver ornaments to create a winter wonderland look. Go for a red, green and gold color scheme for a classy, traditional style.

3
Place a dab of low-temperature hot glue on the back of each ornament and begin pressing them onto the ribbon-wrapped wreath base. Apply the largest ornaments first, distributing the colors evenly. Glue medium-sized ornaments on next, applying them directly to the wreath base or on top of the larger ornaments. Fill in any gaps with the smallest ornaments.
-
4
Loop a wide, color-coordinated grosgrain, satin or velvet ribbon through the completed wreath for hanging.
