The Spion binoculars are good options for wildlife viewing and bird-watching.

The Spion digital camera binoculars are a hybrid electronic device that combines the field optics of binoculars with the quick photo ability of a digital camera. This little device is used for long-distance wildlife and bird-watching, allowing you to snap shots of your watched quarry as well as enhance the field of vision. The camera-binoculars focus with the assistance of a focus dial, found in between the optic chambers.

Instructions

    • 1

Remove the lens caps and turn the binocular-camera on. Let the power come up.

    • 2

Hold the eyepieces up to your eyes and pick a target to focus on. Choose a target at least 25 yards from you. Adjust the distance between the two optic chambers until you see a solid circle when looking through the eyepieces.

    • 3

Place your forefinger onto the focus dial and turn it clockwise until the target in your field of view begins to appear crisp and clear.

    • 4

Turn the focus dial counterclockwise should you go too far in the focus to where the target gets fuzzy again.

Tips & Warnings

  • Be sure the camera has batteries before you head out to go bird-watching. The unit takes four AAA batteries.
