How to Watch Home TV on the iPhone
Slingbox, Hava and Dish Network are three companies that manufacture and market streaming devices that you attach to your home television. Once connected, you can watch and control your television over a high-speed Internet connection. Slingbox, Hava and Dish Network also offer applications for your iPhone that you can download and install from Apple's App Store. These applications allow you to watch and control your home television from your iPhone.
Things You'll Need
- Compatible Slingbox, Hava or Dish Network device for your home television
- Wi-Fi or cellular data connection
- iTunes account

Tap the "App Store" icon.

Select the "Search" icon and type "Slingbox," "Hava" or "Dish Network" in the search bar. Press the blue "Search" key.

Select the SlingPlayer Mobile, Hava Player or Dish Network Remote Access application.

Tap the blue icon that displays the price of the application.

Tap the green "Install" button.

Wait while your iPhone downloads and installs the application. When the process is complete, you will see an icon for the new application on the home screen of your iPhone.

Tap the new icon.

Enter your username and password for the television streaming device you are using. You normally recieve this logon information when you originally install the streaming device on your television.

Select the channel you want to watch. The application will automatically start streaming the desired channel from your home television.
