Instructions

    • 1

      Wash and condition your hair.

    • 2

Apply light hold gel liberally. Comb through with a fine-toothed comb.

    • 3

Part hair as desired for styling. As you work, keep your hair wet using a spray bottle.

    • 4

Comb hair straight down, starting at the part, toward the front of your head. Secure hair with bobby pins at temples.

    • 5

Comb hair midway back to the ear. Place pins at bottom of the ear.

    • 6

Comb hair at the back of your head to the nape of the neck. Place pins at the hairline.

    • 7

Comb hair that extends longer than the hairline. If this hair is longer than two inches, loop it around your hand at the back and pin it in a wide loop. This will keep your hair straight while it dries in place.

    • 8

      Let hair dry naturally.

    • 9

Remove pins when hair is dry. Run fingers through hair, but do not brush or comb after hair has dried.
