Figure out what kind of cruise line you want to work for. Cruise lines tend to cater to different groups of people. For instance, if you enjoy a family-friendly atmosphere and are good with children, you might consider Disney Cruise Lines. If you're looking for something more adult and upscale, Regent Seven Seas Cruises may be a better fit.

Check out the cruise line's website directly. Look for a link that says "careers" or "employment," often situated at the bottom of the web page. Current openings may include positions in reception, housekeeping, food service, retail and entertainment.

Send your qualifications to a recruitment agency. Cruise lines will often hire staff through a recruitment agency for certain positions. When applying, stick to those agencies listed on the cruise line's website. Unfortunately, there are many scams out there that will promise you work in exchange for a fee.
