Instructions

    • 1

Tap with your palm where the cups touch in order to break the seal between them.

    • 2

Wrap the towel around the shaker, covering the crease where the cups join together.

    • 3

Tap the covered shaker against the bar or counter, striking it where the cups meet. Twist the shaker as you tap to make sure the seal has been broken all the way around.

    • 4

Separate the halves of the shaker from each other.

Tips & Warnings

  • Be careful when striking the shaker against the surface. Only resort to this after trying with your hand first. If you hit the surface too hard you may bend the metal of the shaker, but the towel should help reduce the likelihood of this happening.
