You can put your digital photos on a DVD.

Digital cameras seem so much more advanced than old cameras, which forced us to have film developed, and even instant cameras, which printed pictures on the spot. One problem with this advancement is that we still have to get the pictures printed or be able to view them on a computer. Windows has built-in software that can put these pictures on DVDs to watch on your TV.

Instructions

    • 1

Connect the digital camera to your computer. Each digital camera has a port where you connect a cable to it; the other end is a USB connection that you plug into your computer's USB port. After connecting, copy the pictures from the camera to your computer. Windows will either give you the option of how to copy the images or a folder will pop up with the picture files in them.

Click on the "Start" menu. Choose "All programs" and then choose "Windows DVD Maker." Under "Add Pictures or Video to the DVD," click on "Add items." Browse to the folder where you copied your pictures from the camera and select each picture and click "Add."

Click the "Next" button and choose whatever menu options and style you want your DVD to have. Insert a blank DVD disk and click "Burn." The creation process may take a while. But after it's finished, the DVD will be burned.

Insert the burned DVD into a DVD player that is connected to your TV. Change whatever settings you need to on your TV to view the DVD. You can now view the pictures on your TV that originated with your digital camera.
