Steps in Becoming an NSA Police Officer

The National Security Agency employs their own force of police officers who protect the assets of NSA facilities, as well as providing protection during counterterrorism attacks. Much like the training and education requirements for becoming a police officer, NSA officers must have a high school diploma or GED, two years of college education, preferably in criminal justice or military service and be at least 21 years of age. As of December 2010, NSA police recruits can expect to earn a starting salary between $44,000 and $50,000 and may be eligible to receive a $3,000 recruitment bonus upon hiring.
