3
Purchase a pair of mouse ears from a local or online retail store. Stores that specialize in costumes or parties usually have mouse ears available all year round. Tie a red ribbon with white polka dots at the top of the headband and between the ears. A plain red ribbon is also sufficient.
-
4
Use a pair of black tights to mimic the appearance of Minnie Mouse's legs. Slip on a pair of white anklet socks over the tights. Add a pair of yellow or black dress shoes to complete the lower half of the Minnie Mouse costume.
-
5
Mimic the appearance of Minnie Mouse's hands with a pair of white gloves.
-
6
Draw three lines on each cheek with black eyeliner to create the appearance of Minnie Mouse's whiskers. Make an outline of a small circle on the tip of your daughter's nose with black eyeliner, and color it in. Color in her lips with bright red lipstick to add the finishing touch to the Minnie Mouse costume.

Tips & Warnings
For the most accurate Minnie Mouse costume, choose a dress or skirt that is about knee length.
If neither a red dress nor skirt with a white polka dot pattern can be found, use a plain red dress or skirt. Add white polka dots by cutting out small circles from white cloth and gluing or sewing the polka dots onto the dress or skirt. You can also try buying cloth and making a dress or skirt from a pattern.
You do not have to use dress shoes for this costume. Any yellow or black shoes can be used.
