1
Place vellum paper in the printer paper tray. Scan the photo or photos you want to use for your candle and print out each photo on a sheet of the vellum paper. If you are putting several photos on one candle they shouldn't be more than 3 inches by 3 inches. You can combine more than one picture on one sheet of vellum.
-
2
Cut out each picture from the vellum paper and trim each photograph so that you can no longer see the vellum. Use a small piece of double stick tape on each photograph, just enough to keep the photograph from moving. Place the photos on the candle.

Cut out a piece of wax paper 1/2-inch bigger than the diameter of the candle. Wrap the wax paper around the candle, with the waxy side of the paper facing the candle. Make sure the wax paper is wrapped tightly and secure it with a piece of tape.
-
4
Use a hair dryer to heat the wax paper that is wrapped around the candle. Be sure to have the hair dryer set to high and hold it 2 to 3 inches away from the candle while heating the wax paper. You will see the wax paper starting to melt over the photographs and the photos will become more visible. Turn the hair dryer off when the wax paper is melted over the entire candle.
-
5
Set the candle aside for 5 minutes, allowing the wax paper to cool on the candle. Peel off the wax paper and light your newly created candle.
