How to Customize Wallpapers & Download Them to Your Phone
Most cell phones give some type of customization options, like ringtones, themes and wallpapers. Usually a wallpaper is a part of a theme, but you can specify any individual image as the wallpaper so you see it on the phone home screen. A number of online sources let you manipulate photos to fit to your cell phone resolution. You can then send it direct to your phone via SMS from the website.

Go to the website Myxer, and click "Choose File." Then select an image from your computer to make your custom wallpaper with. Click "Upload" and wait for the site to upload the image. Specify the portion of the image to use, for instance, "Use entire image" or "Use just a section." Drag the crop icon on the image to make your selection. If you want to rotate the image horizontally or vertically, use the respective buttons under the image preview. Click "Continue" and enter your cell phone number in the respective field. You will receive your custom wallpaper as a link in a text message. Follow the link using your phone's browser and it will be saved in your phone's "Wallpaper" collection.

Sign up for a Zedge account by entering your registration information. Then go to the "Personalizer" page and click the "Choose File" button. Select an image from your computer, and click "Upload." Click the "Crop" tool button, and specify the image's dimensions by dragging the cursor on the image. Add effects from the list, like "Sepia" or "Watercolor" and click the "Download" button. Provide your cell phone number in the respective field, and click "Send." You will receive the wallpaper on the phone via text message. Save the wallpaper in the "Images" or "Wallpapers" folder of the phone.

Select your cell phone model from the drop-down list, and select your screen size resolution. Enter text in the specified field that you want to see on the wallpaper. You can enter up to 18 characters. When you're done, download the image to your phone by entering your phone number.
