How to Make Invitations With a Batman Theme

Parties with a Batman theme have been popular among people of all ages for years. Things You'll Need

• Black construction paper
• Yellow construction paper
• Scissors
• Glue
• Black marker
• Yellow paint pen
• Bat-shaped cookie cutter
• Sugar cookie mix
• Black icing
• Black ribbon
• Yellow cellophane bags
• Small flashlights

Instructions

Small Bat-Shaped Invitation

1. Cut a small bat shape (3 to 4 inches across) out of black construction paper.

2. Glue the bat onto a circle of yellow construction paper to make a representation of the Bat Signal.

3. Write party details and information on the back of the yellow circle.

Large Bat-Shaped Invitation

1. Cut a large bat shape (8 to 10 inches) out of black construction paper.

2. Write party details in the middle of the front of the bat, using a yellow paint pen.

3. Fold the wings over to close the invitation.

Bat Cookie Invitation

1. Make a batch of bat-shaped sugar cookies. Decorate them with black icing.

2. Trace the cookie cutter shape onto black construction paper and cut out bats. Write party details on the bat using a yellow paint pen.

3. Place the cookies into a yellow cellophane bag. Attach the bat-shaped card to the bag with black ribbon. Hand deliver the invitations.

Bat Beacon Invitation

1. Cut a bat shape from black construction paper. The size of the bat will depend on the size of the small flashlights you are going to use.

2. Tape or glue the bat to the end of a small flashlight.

3. Cut another bat shape from black construction paper. Write party details on this bat using a yellow paint pen. Tie this bat to the flashlight with black ribbon.
