How to Pour a Five Gallon Can of Paint
A 5-gallon bucket of paint weighs approximately 50 pounds and pouring paint out of this container can be a tricky feat. Most of these plastic buckets are equipped with a hole on the cover, allowing the user to control the amount of paint that flows out when the bucket is tipped. For best results, however, purchase a 5-gallon paint bucket spout at your local hardware store to make pouring the paint into a smaller container more convenient. A spout can cost as little as $1.25 and can be easily cleaned after each use. Does this Spark an idea?

Tips & Warnings
As you empty more paint out of the 5-gallon bucket, it will become lighter and you will be able to lift the bucket and pour the paint into a smaller paint can or tray rather than tipping it.
