Instructions

    • 1

Move small items out of the room to avoid paint from dripping on them. Cover any remaining furniture with old sheets and put a drop cloth on the floor.

    • 2

Paint the ceiling a light blue with an indoor latex paint, and let it dry. The paint can be found at a local home improvement. If the store does not stock that color, have a clerk mix it for you.

    • 3

Mix four parts faux glaze to one part white latex paint. Both of these can be obtained from a local home improvement store. Look for bright white.

    • 4

Dip a sea sponge into the white mixture. Remove excess by blotting on a clean towel. Lightly dab onto the ceiling. Use more paint in the center of the cloud, and less as you move out. You want a little blue to show through to give it a more natural look.
