How to Remember What Kinds of 12X12 Paper You Have
If you're a scrapbooking enthusiast, you probably know how frustrating it is to buy a sheet of 12-by-12 paper only to find out you already had that style or color tucked in a drawer somewhere. The secret to remembering which types of 12-by-12 paper you already own is to organize the paper so you can easily view each sheet. You'll never again waste money on paper that you don't need.
Instructions

1
Purchase an accordion file folder. You may be able to find a large size at an office supply store. Scrapbooking specialty stores often sell specially sized accordion files for your sheets.
-
2
Organize the file folder by theme, color or occasion.

3
Peel the sticker from the 12-by-12 scrapbook paper that has the sheet name or color. These stickers peel off easily so the paper isn't harmed. If your paper doesn't have a sticker, write a description of the paper on one of the price stickers.
-
4
Place the paper into the relevant category in the accordion file and then place the matching sticker on the front flap of the accordion file. When you use a sheet of paper, remove the sticker.
-
5
Look at the stickers on the front of your accordion file periodically to remind yourself of which 12-by-12 paper you already own.

Tips & Warnings
As an alternative, purchase a cheap scrapbook and insert the 12-by-12 sheets into the pages: most scrapbooks can hold several sheets. Place the stickers on the front of the scrapbook.
