How to Unlock the Qosmio Hotkeys

Hot keys make it easy to perform common computer tasks.

Qosimo is the name given to a range of laptop computers manufactured by Toshiba Corporation, a Japanese electronics company based in Tokyo. Qosimo computers come with a "hot key" function for quickly performing common tasks, such as muting the computer's sound, locking the computer, zooming the screen or putting the computer in hibernate mode. Hot keys are usually hidden from view but not locked. Toshiba Qosimo hot keys are designed to be quickly accessed.

Instructions

1. Locate the "FN" button your Qosimo keyboard between the "CTRL" and "Windows" key in the bottom-left corner.

2. Press and hold down "FN." The Qosimo hot keys will appear on your computer screen.

3. Click the desired hot key using the mouse. The function of the hot key will be performed.
