How to Minimize the Sims on Apple

The Minimize tool in "The Sims" allows you to hide the game when you're secretly playing The Sims on your Macintosh computer or want to access a different application without closing out the game. Instead of worrying about what mischief your Sims are up to while the game is minimized, "The Sims" automatically pauses when the game is hidden to prevent your Sims from drowning in the game's pool or starting a kitchen fire while you weren't paying attention.

Instructions

1. Click "The Sims" on the menu at the top of the desktop. Click "Hide The Sims."

2. Hold "Control" and click "The Sims" icon on your desktop's dock. Release "Control" and click "Hide."

3. Click the application's icon to unhide the game.Press "Command" and "M" simultaneously to hide "The Sims" window.
