Baking soda has a number of versatile cleaning uses, including its effectiveness as a cleaner for windows and glass. Commercial glass cleaners are cost-efficient products, but many times they leave behind streaks and residue after the glass surface has dried. Instead of having to deal with this problem, make your own glass cleaner that combines baking soda with other household items and leaves your glass surfaces looking clean and residue-free.   • Spray bottle
  • Baking soda
  • Vinegar
  • Lint-free cloth

Instructions

      Mix 3 cups water, 1/2 cup baking soda and 1 cup white vinegar in a spray bottle. Shake the bottle gently to mix the ingredients.

      Spray the homemade glass cleaner onto your glass surfaces, and wipe it off with a lint-free cloth. Using a lint-free cloth prevents the lint particles from being left behind, which is often a problem with paper towels and similar cleaning cloths.

      Let the glass air dry, and repeat as needed when your glass becomes soiled.
