Instructions

    • 1

      Dip a cloth into acetone.

    • 2

Place the cloth over the super glue for at least 10 minutes or until the super glue is softened.

    • 3

Remove the cloth and attempt to scrape off the glue with the back of a plastic spoon. Do not use metal spoons as these can scratch the countertop. Put the acetone cloth back on the super glue if it is still too hard. If the super glue is very thick you may be unable to scrape it off.

    • 4

Gently sand the super glue off the countertop with a piece of fine sandpaper. Sand until there is a thin layer of glue.

    • 5

Soak the cloth in acetone and lay it over the thin layer until it dissolves.

    • 6

Run a cloth soaked in clear water over the area to rinse away the acetone.
