How to Make Bags Made From Candy Wrappers
Making something that you can wear from recycled goods is called eco-fashion. There are several options you can take advantage of to make a green fashion statement. These include recycling strange objects to create wearable works of art. Discarded candy wrappers serve as excellent decorative option to use in a eco-fashion project. Making a purse out of candy wrappers isn't difficult and gives you the ability to mix and match a wide range of candy wrapper styles to create a one of a kind handbag.

1
Cut two squares out of an old shirt. The squares should measure 10 inches long by 8 inches tall. This makes use of an item, the shirt, that would otherwise be thrown away.
-
2
Spread both squares even in front of you, horizontally. Make sure the print side of the fabrics are facing downward.

3
Use a hot glue gun to adhere single candy wrappers to each segment of fabric. Depending on the sizes of candy wrappers you use, you will need anywhere from 20 to 200 wrappers. Use as many as you can to fully conceal the fabric of each segment. Make sure to spread glue entirely on the back of each wrapper and overlap them as you adhere them to the fabric. Let the segments of fabric dry for 20 minutes.

4
Squeeze a 1-inch thick line of glue along the two short sides and bottom edge of one of the segments of fabric. Do this on the side with the candy wrappers facing upward. Layer the second wrapper-covered segment over the first, pressing the edges together. Point the candy-wrapper side of this segment downward. Let it dry for an additional 20 minutes.

5
Turn the bag inside-out, to expose the candy wrapper side of the fabric.
