How to Block an Incoming Number on a Sprint Phone

Unwanted incoming calls can be an annoyance. Sprint allows customers to block unwanted incoming and outgoing phone numbers using your online account. In order to block phone calls, you must be authorized to make changes to the account and have an owner profile. You can block as many numbers as you like using the online blocking service. Once a number is blocked, it will remain unable to connect with your phone or to be called from your mobile phone until the block is removed.

Instructions

1. Open the Sprint web page and log in to your online account.

2. Click "My preferences" on your account home page.

3. Click "Limits and permissions."

4. Click "Block voice."

5. Click "Block only the following phone numbers for inbound and outbound calls."

6. Enter the phone number you would like to block and click "Add number."

7. Click "Save."

8. Turn the power of your device off and on to allow the changes to take effect. It may take up to 15 minutes before the number is completely blocked.
