1
Create a pirate's tan. Mix two colors --- light flesh-tone and brown. This will give you medium-tanned skin. Spread this paint all over the face.
-
2
Draw a curly mustache on the upper lip with a sponge, fine paintbrush or eyeliner. Use black or blown paint to fill in the mustache.
-
-
3
Darken the eyebrows using the same color as you used for the mustache. Draw black thin lines around the eyes to make your pirate's look even more expressive.
-
4
Add a wig with dark hair, then a pirate's hat or bandanna. Add a play sword as a classic pirate prop.
-
5
Add an eye patch; you can draw one rather than wear a real eye patch. Draw black square around one eye. Carefully paint in the middle of the square, avoiding your eyelashes and tear ducts. Add two straight lines from the top corners of the patch up into your hairline.
-
6
Draw many tiny black dots around the mouth and chin to simulate stubble. You can also paint a scar to your pirate look more dangerous: Just draw a light-pink line on your cheek. Add a clip-on hoop earring and other fake jewelry to finish your pirate costume.

Tips & Warnings
1. Before you start painting your face, spread a little bit of petroleum jelly onto your skin.
2. If you have your face covered with paint for couple of hours, you will notice that the paint will not come off effortlessly. You will not be able to take off this paint with regular soup and water. Dip cotton balls into chilled cold cream. Spread the cream all over your face and let sit for 3 to 5 minutes, then wipe clean with a wet washcloth.
3. Stick a small piece of black scotch tape on one of your teeth to imitate a missing tooth.
1. Use only paints created for putting on skin.
2. Be careful with your eyes while applying paint to your face.
3. Avoid using cosmetic makeup removers that include alcohol. It may cause injury if some of it gets into your eyes.
