Pavers are often made of concrete or another porous material that you can remove stains from easily with bleach and warm water. Bleach is a very strong chemical that you will need to dilute before you can use it. Using a strong concentration may excessively lighten the color of your pavers or make them appear splotchy. Clean your pavers on a sunny day so that they have time to air dry after you rinse off the bleach solution.

Dilute ½ cup bleach in 1 qt. warm water.

Add 1 tsp. liquid dish soap. This will help enhance the bleach's ability to remove tough stains from the pavers and will help rinse away dirt.
Step 3
Pour the solution into a spray bottle.
Step 4
Spray the pavers with the solution until you completely soak them.
Step 5
Let the pavers sit in the solution for at least 20 minutes. This will give the solution time to sink into the pores of the pavers so that you won't need to scrub as vigorously.
Step 6
Scrub each paver with a stiff nylon bristled brush. Do not use metal bristled as these will scratch the surface of most types of pavers.
Step 7
Rinse the bleach solution and the dirt off with water from your hose.
Step 8
Let the pavers dry completely.
