How to Hang Storage Accessories for Campers
Campers are your home away from home when traveling, but having enough storage space can be a challenge, especially on a long trip. In addition to clothes, camping requires outdoor gear, cooking equipment, linens and many other necessities. Creative packing can help maximize available space, but when you completely run out of room, it is time to start hanging storage accessories to create the extra storage space you need. Hanging techniques are simple and will hep you to have a successful trip.

- Rod doubler
- Snap fasteners
- Deck loops
- Drawer handles
- Eye hooks
- Anchors
- Adhesive hooks

Hang a vinyl clothes organizer, or storage bag, using the closet bar or already existing hanging rod. Hanging clothes organizers for folded clothes come with Velcro fastening straps to quickly and easily attach to the rod. Add a rod doubler for a second row of hanging clothes storage.

Install a snap fastener system for hanging accessories. Attach one side of the fastener to the ceiling and one to the top of the storage accessory. Snap together to use. Remove when traveling.

Install deck loops or drawer handles in the ceiling to hang additional camper storage. Use small one-half inch or smaller screws to attach handles into the ceiling. Hang storage accessories by hooks on the handles.

Screw small eye hooks into the camper ceiling or wall to hold lightweight storage bags or cubbies. Insert the hook no further than one-half inch into the ceiling. Use an anchor if necessary.

Apply re-positionable adhesive hooks to the ceiling or wall to temporarily hang extra storage. Use hooks to hang clothes, utensils, towels and other camping gear.

Tips & Warnings
Do not insert screws all the way through the ceiling.
