Instructions

    • 1

Rub a nickel-sized dollop of hair gel into your hands and smooth a light layer over a 1-inch section of dry hair. Blow drying your hair beforehand will also help the hair straighten more easily.

    • 2

Allow the gel to dry slightly, but not completely, on the hair. This should only take around 30 seconds. Pull the flat iron gently and slowly from the top of your head, starting at the root, down to the bottom until straight. Repeat this process, if necessary.

    • 3

Repeat the processes in step 1 and step 2 until entire head is straight.

Tips & Warnings

  • Use a heat protection or thermal protection hair gel that will actually protect your hair from the damaging heat from the straightening tool.

  • Flat ironing your hair frequently can damage your hair and dull its natural shine, so try to use a thermal protectant gel or spray on it before exposing hair to high heat temperatures from the flat iron or blow dryer.
