How to Beat Level One in "LEGO Star Wars"
"LEGO Star Wars: The Video Game" (also known as "LEGO Star Wars") follows memorable scenes and moments of the first three episodes of the "Star Wars" series of films and recreates them in a LEGO environment. What results is a witty and humorous take on the events of the "Star Wars" prequel. For some individuals, the first level may be difficult, especially if you are new to "LEGO Star Wars."

Use the Force to destroy the door in front of you using either Obi-Wan Kenobi or Qui-Gon Jinn (it does not matter who you use, as they are both Jedis and use the Force). Walk forward and attack the enemies in the following hallway by using your light saber and/or Force powers. Walk directly down the hallway and make a right at the end.

Walk forward once more, destroying everything that attacks you. Turn right at the end and face the white droid. You can now switch to the droid and take control of it during this mission.Take control of the white droid and walk to the control panel you find in the room. Press the "Action" button and wait until the door next to the control panel opens. Walk into the room and use your Force power to assemble the two control panels and use the droid to open the door for you.

Walk into the recently open door and use your Force power to remove the grate that is blocking your path to the left. Destroy the enemies that walk out of the opening. Walk through the opening and you will be brought to another opening. Jump down and destroy every enemy in this large room.

Walk to your right and jump over a railing. Once you have done so, you will see a short cut scene of two battle droids inside a force field, rolling into the large room. Kill the normal droids first and then direct your attention to the battle droids.

Walk toward the battle droids. When they fire shots at you, press the "Defend" button to block their shots. This will reflect their shots back at them, damaging their force field and eventually destroying it. Once the force field on each battle droid has disappeared, continue to block its shots. Eventually, both battle droids will be destroyed.

Assemble a ledge by using the scraps that are lying next to the door with a force field around it. Once assembled, jump on top of the ledge and jump over the fence. A large unit of droids will now be charging at you. Destroy them using your light saber and/or Force power. Once they are all destroyed, stand on the platform behind the force field. Once he is standing, take control of another Jedi and make him stand on top of the platform as well. With both Jedis standing on the two platforms, the force field will disappear and your droid will be able to come along with you.

Control the droid once again and walk toward the sensor next to the yellow ship. A hatch will open, allowing you to walk inside and complete the first mission of Episode 1.

Tips & Warnings
The button combination is different depending on the platform you are playing "LEGO Star Wars." If you are unsure which button controls which action (such as Force, defend, and so on), consult your owner's manual.
