Pin brooches can spice up a plain outfit. Add one to a plain black blazer or fasten one to a summer scarf to add visual appeal and interest. Instructions

    • 1

Cut the beading wire to a length that accommodates the brooch pin backing with your wire cutters. Insert the wire by one end into one of the holes in the brooch. Tie the wire into a knot at the base of the hole in which you inserted it to secure it in place.

    • 2

Add beads to the free end of the wire. You can use any type of bead you desire and in any color combination you desire. Create a pattern of purple and black beads, for example.

    • 3

Insert the free end of the wire into the other hole in the brooch pin after you are finished adding beads. Tie the wire into a knot at the base of the hole in which you inserted it to secure it in place.

    • 4

Put the charm on the jump ring and use another piece of wire to hang everything on the brooch pin. Pinch the ends of the jump ring to secure it in place. You may have shifted some of the beads in this process; therefore, adjust them, if necessary.
