How to Surprise Your Girlfriend With a Puppy

Puppies can be a source of joy and happiness.

Though the saying may go "diamonds are a girl's best friend" that does man's best friend cannot share equal billing. While the American Kennel Club suggests that is always best to allow the prospective owner to pick out her own puppy, surprising a girlfriend with a new pet is an especially thoughtful way to show her that you care -- especially if she has long wanted a puppy. Every girl is different,but here is one memorable way to blow away your girlfriend with your ability to be creative and thoughtful.

• Puppy
• Balloons
• Friend
• Girlfriend

Instructions

1. Talk your girlfriend into visiting a nearby dog park. Explain that by seeing a range of dogs she can make a better decision about which type is right for her.

2. Arrange for a friend to be there with the puppy. Attach a balloon or several balloons to the puppy's collar.

3. Take a seat at the park and wait for her to notice the puppy from a distance.

4. Call the puppy over or have your friend walk the puppy over to her.

5. Wait for her to "oooh and aww" over the puppy, then tell her that it's hers.
