How to Make a Ribbon Picture Holder

With most cell phones having built-in cameras, digital cameras being quite affordable and the popularity of social networking sites on which pictures are abundantly posted, people may find themselves with more photos than frames to display them. Instead of putting your pictures into traditional frames, why not get a little more creative? With some ribbon and clothespins, you can make a picture holder to hang your favorite pictures. What's great about this project is that you can make the picture holder complement any decor by choosing a matching ribbon.

Things You'll Need

• Clothespins
• Scissors
• 6 feet of ribbon
• Clear pushpins

Instructions

1. Purchase colored clothespins. If you cannot find fun clothespins, you can purchase plain wooden ones and paint them any color you'd like.

2. Cut ribbon to be 6 feet in length. You can cut the ribbon longer or shorter, depending on your preference.

3. Stick a clear pushpin through the ribbon and into the wall. Every foot, insert another push pin. You can create straight lines of ribbons, make a circle or zigzag line across your wall.

4. Attach the pictures to the ribbon holder using your clothespins.
