  • Small dish
  • Salt
  • Oregano
  • Paprika
  • Cayenne pepper
  • Ground black pepper
  • Onion powder
  • Garlic powder
  • Chili powder

Instructions

    • 1

      Measure one tablespoon of each of these spices: oregano, paprika, cayenne pepper, ground black pepper, onion powder, garlic powder and chili powder.

      Measure 2 1/2 tablespoons of salt.

      Pour measured spices into a small dish.

    • 4

      Stir all of the spices with the tablespoon until they are well-mixed.

      Use Cajun seasoning in gumbo according to taste. Use as you would salt.
