How to Track a Yellow Freight Shipment
Yellow Roadway Corporation (YRC) is a shipping company that grew from Roadway and Yellow Transportation, two smaller shipping companies that merged in 2003. YRC is part of YRC Worldwide, a company that operates around the world. YRC focuses its services to the United States, Mexico and Canada. As part of its shipping service, you can track packages you sent through YRC. Their website lets you track single packages or up to 10 at one time.

Single Packages

Go to the YRC website (see Resources). The track shipment information is on the left side of the page.

Enter your Progressive Rotating Order Number (PRO #). YRC assigns this 10-digit number to identify each shipment.

Click the "OK" button. Your tracking information appears on the screen.
Multiple Packages

Go to the YRC Tracking page.

Choose your "Track By" option. Options are "PRO Number Request," "Bill of Lading Request," "P.O. Request" and "Booking Number Request."

Enter the "Tracking Number" (the method you chose in the previous step), "Origin ZIP/Postal Code" and "Dest ZIP/Postal Code" for each package you want to track.

Click the "Go" button. Your tracking information appears on the page.
