Instructions

  1. Boiling

    • 1

Fill a large saucepan halfway with cold water. Bring the water to a boil.

    • 2

Add one tablespoon of salt to the boiling water, along with any seasonings you want to use.

    • 3

Add the crab legs to the boiling water and reduce the cooking heat to medium.

    • 4

Simmer the legs for about six minutes. Remove them from the water and serve them with any condiments or side dishes you choose.

    Grilling

    • 5

Brush the crab legs with olive oil on all sides. This will prevent them from sticking to the grill.

    • 6

Heat the grill to about 300 degrees Fahrenheit. Place the crab legs onto the heated grill for about five minutes.

    • 7

Rotate the crab legs after they've cooked for the first five minutes, and cook on the opposite side for five minutes.

    • 8

Remove the legs from the grill and serve them with condiments or side dishes of your choosing. A butter sauce complements grilled crab legs.

    Baking

    • 9

Preheat your oven to 350 degrees Fahrenheit.

    • 10

Place the crab legs in a shallow baking dish. Do not allow the legs to overlap one another. Fill the dish with about 1/8 of an inch of hot water.

    • 11

Cover the baking dish with aluminum foil. Bake it for eight or 10 minutes.

    • 12

Remove the crab legs from the oven after the appropriate amount of time and serve them.
