How to Be Bullet Bill in "Mario Kart" on the Wii
Mario Kart Wii includes the "Bullet Bill" powerup, which allows you to transform into the anthropomorphic Bullet Bill for a few seconds. Bill moves forward faster than anything in the game and upsets any enemy karts he hits on his way, and he can immediately turn things around for a player in the back of a Mario Kart race. As with all items in the game, getting Bullet Bill from an item bubble is a matter of luck.

Fall back at least to sixth place. Because of Bullet Bill's extreme power, it's only granted to players in sixth to 12th place, as a way of abruptly closing the gap.

Drive through one of the question-mark item bubbles. As with all items, Bullet Bill will only appear if the game randomly selects it. If you get a different item, discharge it with the D-pad and drive through another item bubble.

Press the D-pad to transform into Bullet Bill. You will be briefly unable to control your kart as you zoom forward, crashing through any other players on your way, for a few seconds. When the bullet begins to slow down, get ready to resume control.
